What Is The Difference Between LTVP And LTVP+?

A Singapore Long Term Visit Pass (MOM LTVP) permits the applicant to stay in Singapore for up to two years. An LTVP+ is an LTVP extension that allows them to stay in Singapore for up to three years and five years following renewal.

To be eligible for an LTVP+, the applicant must have a child who is a Singapore citizen. Applicants must also meet other criteria, such as having a clean criminal record and being of good character.

Applying for an LTVP+ does not guarantee that the application will be successful. The Singapore authorities will assess each application on a case-by-case basis.

If an applicant already holds an LTVP and wishes to extend their stay in Singapore, they do not need to apply for an LTVP+ because they would be automatically considered for an LTVP+ if qualified.

What Happens When LTVP Expires?

If your ICA long-term visit pass (LVTP) is due to expire and you wish to renew it, you must use the e-service to submit a renewal application and apply for a renewal MOM LTVP to EP online.

To renew your ICA or MOM long term visit pass in Singapore, simply follow the same procedure as when applying for an ICA or MOM long term visit pass, including all necessary procedures and documentation.
